3 foreigners held for drugs, guns
MANILA, Philippines — Three citizens of Cameroon were arrested for illegal possession of firearms and drugs in Mabalacat, Pampanga on Wednesday.
Flabien Jerome Noah Omgba, Enzo Omgba Yves Emmanuel Bidias Wanko and Prosper Henri Junior Essomba Mbarga were arrested in a raid on their apartment in Barangay Duquit at around 6 a.m.
Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, Central Luzon police director, said agents of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group and Mabalacat police conducted the raid after receiving reports on the illegal activities of the foreigners.
Enzo Omgba, the subject of the search warrant, managed to escape.
The suspects reportedly yielded P250,000 worth of shabu, ecstasy tablets and five grams of marijuana as well as two .45-caliber pistols, a .380-caliber pistol and assorted bullets.
In Cagayan de Oro, Liezel Galagar, 34; Joemar Cartajena, 24, and Antonina Padalapat, 32, reportedly yielded 300 grams of shabu worth P2 million.
