MANILA, Philippines — Around 20 kilos of shabu valued at P136 million were seized by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Las Piñas and Parañaque yesterday.
Moises Joshua Esguerra, 23, was caught with around 18 kilos of shabu worth P122.4 million in a sting in Barangay Talon Dos, Las Piñas at around 3 p.m., PDEA spokesman Derrick Carreon said.
Esguerra reportedly sold a kilo of shabu to a PDEA operative posing as a drug buyer.
Apart from shabu, anti-narcotics officers also confiscated a cell phone that Esguerra used during the transaction.
Meanwhile, two kilos of shabu worth P13.6 million were confiscated from January Berroya, 40, and Rolando Sanchez, 57, in an operation at the parking lot of a shopping mall in Barangay San Dionisio, Parañaque at around 1:30 p.m.
The three suspects are being held on charges of drug trafficking.
