1 dead, 3 hurt in Pangasinan vehicular mishaps

LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — A 67-year-old man died while three others were injured in separate vehicular accidents in Pangasinan on Sunday.

Rogelio Cabrera was declared dead on arrival at the Pozorrubio Community Hospital.

Cabrera was driving a tricycle in Pozorrubio town when his vehicle crashed into a truck parked along the road in Barangay Poblacion III.

Meanwhile, Jeanne Diego, 52; Arnold Saculles, 17, and Judith Gambol, 19, were injured in a collision involving motorcycles in Barangay Sto. Domingo, San Manuel town.

Investigation showed that Diego, who was driving a motorcycle, was turning left toward the highway when the vehicle collided with another motorcycle with Saculles and Gambol on board.

Diego and Saculles were brought to the rural health unit for treatment while Gambol was taken to the Eastern Pangasinan District Hospital in Tayug town.
