BACOLOD CITY, Philippines — An alleged leader of a drug ring in Negros Occidental and an unidentified man were found dead in Barangay Pinugay in Baras, Rizal on Wednesday, Western Visayas police spokesman Lt. Col. Joem Malong said yesterday.
Michael Vincent Divinagracia was identified through his driver’s license, Silay police officer-in-charge Lt. Col. Robert Petate said in his report.
The body of Divinagracia was discovered along Marilaque Highway in Barangay Pinugay beside an unidentified person, who was wrapped in a pink blanket.
Police said Divinagracia’s group has been supplying up to 10 kilos of shabu a week in Negros Occidental.
The Negros Occidental police had earlier offered a reward of P200,000 while Silay Mayor Mark Golez pitched in P300,000 for information leading to Divinagracia’s arrest.
