MANILA, Philippines — The Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority has reopened its dive resort in Bohol to boost tourism in the province.
Ellen Gumastin, Balicasag Island Dive Resort officer-in-charge, told The STAR they would accept only up to 40 guests in compliance with minimum health standards.
Gumastin said tourists are required to submit a negative COVID test result taken within 72 hours prior to their travel aside from a confirmed booking at an accommodation accredited by the Department of Tourism.
She said the resort reopened last week, but they expect visitors to come after the community quarantine status in most areas have been eased.
