CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines — The police chief of Lucban in Quezon has been relieved from his post after a policewoman accused him of sexual harrasment.
Maj. Rizaldy Merene was reassigned at the Quezon provincial holding and accounting section pending the result of an investigation into the allegations.
Maj. Lauro Moratillo was designated officer-in-charge, according to Col. Ericson Dilag, acting Quezon police director.
A policewoman filed a complaint against Merene at the Tayabas City prosecutor’s office on Friday. The alleged incident occurred in Barangay Wakas on Thursday.
