MRT to deploy buses during Holy Week

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) will deploy augmentation buses to transport commuters during Holy Week.

The rail line suspended MRT-3 operations from March 30 to April 4, Easter Sunday, to allow for maintenance and repairs.

The buses will run along the EDSA bus carousel system from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m, MRT-3 operations director Michael Capati said.

The MRT-3 will resume operations on April 5.
