Man, 2 daughters drown in Agusan del Sur river

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — A man and his two daughters drowned in a river in Trento, Agusan del Sur on Monday.

Police identified the fatalities as Renie Flores, 33, and his daughters Frenchess, 10, and Sahira, 7.

The victims were washing their clothes in Simulao River in Barangay Tudela when they were swept away by the strong current spawned by rains in the nearby mountain range.

Their bodies were found floating in a waterway several kilometers away from where they were last seen.
