Suspect in ex-Pangasinan governor’s ambush nabbed
LINGAYEN, Pangasinan, Philippines — Another suspect in the ambush of former Pangasinan governor Amado Espino Jr. on Sept. 11, 2019 was arrested in Barangay Ilang in San Carlos City on Tuesday.
Richard Arambulo, 45, a resident of Barangay Pisuac, Urbiztondo, was apprehended based on arrest warrants for frustrated murder and murder issued by a local court.
Arambulo is ranked fourth on the list of most wanted persons in the province.
Three other suspects – Albert Palisoc, Benjie Resultan and Armando Frias – were arrested in Barangay Poblacion, San Juan, Batangas last month.
Espino was wounded while two of his bodyguards were killed in the ambush.
