TUGUEGARAO CITY, Cagayan, Philippines — The municipal government building of San Agustin, Isabela was closed on Monday after eight employees at the treasurer’s office were found positive for COVID-19.
The lockdown until today will pave the way for disinfection and contact tracing.
The municipal health office urged those who were exposed to the patients to undergo self-quarantine and seek assistance from its office or barangay health workers.
San Agustin recorded 36 COVID-19 cases, nine of them active.
