LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Four mild earthquakes hit two Bicol provinces yesterday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).
The first quake, a magnitude-2.8, occurred at around 12:03 a.m. with its epicenter located 21 kilometers south off Caramoan, Catanduanes.
Six hours later, a magnitude-2.5 temblor was recorded on Tinaga Island in Vinzons, Camarines Norte.
At past 2 p.m., quakes of magnitudes 1.7 and 2.7 were recorded again on Tinaga Island.
The quakes were hardly felt.
