Colder days ahead due to amihan
MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or amihan has strengthened and is expected to continue to bring cold weather over most parts of the country, particularly in northeastern Luzon.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said no weather disturbance would enter the Philippine area of responsibility in the next three days.
Light to moderate rains are expected over Cagayan Valley, the Cordilleras and Bicol due to strong monsoon winds.
In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, generally fair weather with no rainshowers expected.
The temperatures in Metro Manila will range from 22 degrees to 29 degrees Celsius.
Gale warning is up over the entire eastern seaboard as well as the northwestern coast in Ilocos.
