P8.5 million shabu seized in Maguindanao stings

COTABATO CITY , Philippines — Anti-narcotics agents seized P8.5 million worth of shabu from three suspected drug dealers in Maguindanao on Wednesday.

Sabir Tahir Omar and Inar Bulilo were arrested after selling P1.7 million worth of shabu to undercover agents in Datu Odin Sinsuat.

Juvenal Azurin, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao director, said a kilo of shabu valued at P6.8 million was recovered in Barangay Dalumangcob in Sultan Kudarat.

The target of the operation, Saddam Abubakar, managed to escape.

In Iloilo, P3.4 million worth of shabu was seized from Mary Joy Villarina in Barangay Pandac, Pavia yesterday.— John Unson
