Couple found dead in Muntinlupa

MANILA, Philippines — A couple was found dead along the banks of Laguna de Bay in Muntinlupa City yesterday.

The bodies of Alex and Emily Damayo, fish cage caretakers, were found floating in Barangay Alabang at around 6:30 a.m., according to a spot report from the Southern Police District (SPD).

The Damayos’ bodies, which bore bruises and scratches, were bloated by the time they were found, the SPD said.

Probers said Lester Rivera, 27, told police he found the bodies, which were brought to a funeral parlor in Taguig for autopsy.
