MANILA, Philippines — Slain Court of Appeals justice Normandie Pizarro left a handwritten note in his hotel room before he went missing, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) said yesterday.
The note contained the names of four people, whom probers had earlier identified as persons of interest in the killing, NBI spokesman Ferdinand Lavin said yesterday.
Lavin said one of them, who was last seen with Pizarro as he left a casino in Clark, Pampanga, is cooperating with authorities.
In an interview on ANC’s “Matters of Fact,” Lavin said the three others are either Pizarro’s family friends or close acquaintance.
“We are not discounting the possibility that two or three or all of the persons of interest may have conspired to kill the justice,” Lavin said.
