Bus hits tricycle; 2 dead

LINGAYEN,Pangasinan, Philippines — Two men died when their tricycle collided with a mini bus in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte on Monday.

Police said Flaviano Macatumbas Jr., 44, and Gerome Querabo, 29, were declared dead on arrival at the Mariano Marcos Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Batac City.

Initial investigation showed the tricycle was hit by the mini bus while overtaking a car in Barangay 22.

The driver of the bus, Jonathan Yarte, 37, was unhurt.
