DAVAO CITY, Philippines — After lifting the liquor ban and curfew last month, Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio yesterday reimposed the restrictions due to the increasing cases of COVID-19.
An executive order signed by Carpio stated that the restrictions will be in effect from Oct. 15 to Dec. 31. Curfew hours will be from 7 p.m to 5 a.m.
Carpio cited the rising number of COVID patients at the Southern Philippines Medical Center in issuing the order.
