MPD nabs 10th most wanted person in Tondo
MANILA, Philippines — National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Maj. Gen. Debold Sinas yesterday lauded the Manila Police District (MPD) Station 7’s intelligence and tracker team for the arrest of the station’s 10th most wanted fugitive.
The team tracked down and arrested Rhealyn Hernandez, 26, at the corner of Juan Luna and Corcuerra streets in Tondo at around 9 a.m. yesterday.
The team made the arrest following several days of continuous surveillance after a barangay information network reported Hernandez’s whereabouts.
Hernandez is the subject of an arrest warrant for theft issued on March 4 by Navotas Metropolitan Trial Court Branch 118 Judge Frederick Separa.
She was taken to Station 7’s custodial facility pending the return of the arrest warrant and a commitment order from the court.
“The public plays an important role in every police operation and I want to thank them for fully supporting Team NCRPO. I also want to commend Manila’s Finest for their commitment and dedication in relentlessly apprehending Metro’s most wanted persons,” Sinas said.
