2 shot dead in Batangas

MANILA, Philippines — Two persons were killed in a gun attack in Nasugbu, Batangas on Wednesday.

Victoriano Cupo and his son Randy were on a motorcycle on their way home when they were shot in Barangay Bulihan at around 2 p.m. They suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene.

Police said several men in two vehicles were involved in the shooting.

A manhunt against the suspects who fled toward the town proper is ongoing.
