Call center agent caught with P.5 million shabu
MANILA, Philippines — A call center agent was arrested by Quezon City policemen after he was caught with P510,000 worth of shabu in Sampaloc, Manila on Wednesday.
Mohammad Imran Abdulgoni, 27, allegedly yielded around 75 grams of shabu when apprehended by personnel of the Galas police station during a sting in Barangay 481.
The operation, which was coordinated with the Manila Police District, stemmed from intelligence information that Abdulgoni was reportedly involved in illegal drugs.
Quezon City police chief Brig. Gen. Ronnie Montejo said the suspect allegedly sold a pack of shabu to a police officer for P10,000.
Police said they recovered at least 30 grams of shabu valued at P204,000 from 50-year-old Rodora Danan during a drug bust in Barangay Sta. Monica.
Authorities said Danan was on the drug watchlist.
In Barangay Pasong Tamo, Virgilio Cortez, 42, and his wife Lorna, 34, were nabbed for alleged possesion of P102,000 worth of shabu.
The couple was collared after they reportedly sold a sachet of shabu for P500 to a policeman.
