17 Eastern Visayas isolation facilities completed

MANILA, Philippines — Seventeen additional quarantine facilities in Eastern Visayas have been completed.

Citing a report from Department of Public Works and Highways regional director Nerie Bueno, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said two facilities were completed this month, 10 last month and five in July.

Villar said these facilities are in Barangays Salvacion, Abucay and Cabalawan in Tacloban City; Sacred Heart Seminary in Palo, Leyte; Barangay Trinidad and Samar Provincial Hospital in Calbayog City; Barangay Songco in Borongan City, Eastern Samar; Northern Samar Provincial Hospital in Catarman; Barangays Macabug and Dolores in Ormoc City, and Barangays Agpangi and Larrazabal in Naval, Biliran.

Villar said the construction of another quarantine facility in Dagami, Leyte is ongoing and targeted for completion this month.
