P11.6 million shabu seized in Bacolod

BACOLOD CITY, Philippines  – More than a kilo of shabu with an estimated street value of P11.6 million was seized in Barangay Singcang Airport  in this city on Thursday.

Western Visayas police spokesman Lt. Col. Gilbert Gorero said Joy Diamante, 18, and her partner Rafael Cantuar, 23, both residents of Barangay Banago, who yielded the illegal drugs, were arrested.

In Bulacan, 128 grams of shabu valued at P870,000 were seized from Candido Clemente, who was arrested in a sting in Barangay Borol 1st yesterday.

Police said five suspects yielded P300,000 worth of shabu in stings in Bacoor City, Cavite in the past two days. Ramon Efren Lazaro, Emmanuel Tupas
