COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Four more members of the Dawlah Islamiya or Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters (BIFF) were wounded in gunfights with soldiers in Maguindanao over the weekend.
Local official said Kasim Undih, Madzid Salik, Salilaguia Tangan and Thong Sangid were wounded in clashes in Upper Salman and Tuayan areas at the boundary of Ampatuan and Datu Hoffer towns.
Fourteen BIFF bandits were killed and nine others were wounded in clashes with soldiers last week.
Four government troopers were slain in the encounters.
