8 police officials reshuffled

The revamp was prompted by the retirement of Maj. Gen. Lyndon Cubos, head of the Directorate of Personnel and Records Management.

MANILA, Philippines — Eight ranking officials of the Philippine National Police have been reshuffled, the PNP announced yesterday.

The revamp was prompted by the retirement of Maj. Gen. Lyndon Cubos, head of the Directorate of Personnel and Records Management. 

Cubos, who will retire on Monday, will be replaced by Maj. Gen. Reylado Biay. 

Biay’s post at the Directorate for Research and Development will be headed by Maj. Gen. Timoteo Pacleb. 

Brig. Gen. R’Win Pagkalinawan was designated as acting director of the Cordillera Police Regional Office.

Brig. Gen. Rodolfo Azurin will be reassigned to head the Maritime Group. 

Brig. Gen. Israel Dickson will lead the Directorate for Integrated Police Operations in the Visayas.

Brig. Gen. Rolando Miranda was designated as Deputy Director for Personnel and Records Management. 

Colonels Conrado Gongon and Erson Undal were named acting executive officers of the Director for Integrated Police Operations in Western Mindanao and Directorate for Human Resources and Doctrine Development, respectively.
