6 drug suspects killed, P5.1million shabu seized in Luzon
Manila, Philippines — Six drug suspects were killed in anti-drug operations in Batangas, Cavite, Bulacan and Oriental Mindoro yesterday.
Louie Mendoza and Richard de Guzman drew their guns when they sensed they had sold shabu for P350,000 to undercover agents in Barangay Banaba, Padre Garcia at around 1:15 a.m., police said.
At least 250 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of P1.7 million were allegedly recovered from the suspects.
In Cavite, two men known only by their aliases of Mcdo and Bong allegedly shot it out with police officers in Barangay Burol Main, Dasmariñas City.
In Bacoor City, police said 500 grams of shabu valued at P3.4 million were seized from Sikal Abdullah who was arrested in a drug bust in Barangay Habay shortly after midnight.
In Oriental Mindoro, Cris Bendana was killed in an alleged shootout with anti-narcotics agents in Barangay Sumagui, Bansud.
Khali Kasan fired at police officers who posed as buyers of shabu in Barangay San Manuel, San Jose del Monte City, Bulacan, according to Col. Emma Libunao, provincial police acting director.
Guns, drug paraphernalia, sachets of shabu and marked money were reportedly recovered from the slain suspects.
Nineteen other suspected drug pushers were arrested in simultaneous anti-narcotics operations in Plaridel, Pandi, Pulilan, Guiguinto, Balagtas, Malolos, Meycauayan and San Jose del Monte, also in Bulacan.
