4 Chinese nabbed for foiled kidnap

MAKATI,  Philippines — Four Chinese men tagged in the foiled kidnapping of a Filipina were apprehended in Makati over the weekend.

Zhi Lin, 28; Shi Jun Yi, 25; Sun Xiao-hui, 22, and , 26, were taken into police custody.

Police said the suspects allegedly attempted to kidnap Gella Velasco in front of her house along Einstein street in Barangay San Isidro on Saturday night.

Velasco was about to board a taxi when the suspects reportedly grabbed her.

The victim managed to escape and sought help from barangay watchmen patrolling the area, which resulted in the arrest of the suspects.
