Drug war: 2 dead in Bulacan

MALOLOS , Philippines – Two drug suspects were killed in a sting in Bulacan yesterday.

Col. Emma Libunao, acting Bulacan police director, said Roy Acebron, who was on the drug watchlist, and his unidentified cohort fired at police officers when they sensed they had sold shabu to undercover agents in Barangay Assumption, San Jose del Monte at around 1:20 a.m.

Libunao said 31 sachets of shabu, a .38-caliber revolver, an improvised shotgun, marked money and a motorcycle were recovered from the fatality.

Four other drug suspects were arrested in this city and Doña Remedios Trinidad.
