MANILA, Philippines — Two Filipinos remain in critical condition after a car lost control and crashed near a shopping mall in Singapore on Sunday.
The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said the two are still undergoing intensive treatment.
Two other Filipinos who were injured in the crash are in stable condition, Minister and Consul General Adrian Candolada said.
The DFA condoled with the families of two other Filipinos who died in the accident outside Lucky Plaza.
The government would provide assistance to the victims, the DFA said.
“The Philippine embassy in Singapore is coordinating with the authorities for the repatriation of the remains of the fatalities,” the DFA said.
According to Candolada, the Singapore government would shoulder the repatriation of the Filipino workers’ remains.
The Overseas Workers Welfare Administration will also extend financial assistance to the victims.
