Repair of Don Alejandro Roces Avenue completed
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed the P18.44-million rehabilitation of Don Alejandro Roces Avenue in Quezon City.
Motorists passing through the highway can now have safer and fast travel, according to DPWH Secretary Mark Villar.
Villar said the road’s repair was finished five months ahead of its target completion.
DPWH National Capital Region director Ador Canlas said the agency’s District Engineering Office in Quezon City hastened construction works to cater to the large volume of motorists traversing the highway.
Don Alejandro Roces Avenue serves as an alternate route for motorists going to Tomas Morato and Mother Ignacia streets.
The project involved the upgrading of damaged concrete pavement with a total length of 876.20-lineal meters.
