Davao bettor wins P71 million lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines — A bettor from Davao del Norte won the jackpot in the 6/42 Regular Lotto drawn on Tuesday.

The bettor hit the winning combination 26-23-12-01-34-17, which had a total jackpot of P71,768,302.

However, the winner will not be able to take home the entire jackpot as lotto winnings of more than P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax.

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office said 46 other bettors guessed five of the winning numbers and won P20,740 each.
