MANILA, Philippines — Two Indonesian Navy frigates are in Manila for a four-day goodwill visit.

The Kri Bung Tomo (357), a multirole light frigate, and Kri Sultan Iskandar Muda (367), a Sigma class corvette, docked at South Harbor’s Pier 15 yesterday morning.

Philippine Navy Commodore Ernesto Baldovino, representing the Flag Officer in Command, welcomed the visiting naval force headed by Capt. Amrin Rosihan.

A courtesy call on Philippine Navy chief Vice Admiral Robert Empedrad and a series of engagements between the Philippine and Indonesian navies are lined up during the visit.
