2 Pangasinan flood control projects completed

MANILA, Philippines — Two flood mitigation projects in Tayug, Pangasinan have been completed.

The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said low-lying barangays near Agno River are no longer prone to flooding with the construction of dikes in Barangays Agno and Barangobong.

DPWH Secretary Mark Villar said a 56-meter protection wall was constructed in Barangay Agno while a 312-meter dike with protection works was built in Barangay Barangobong-Magallanes. The cost of the projects is P18.6 million and P9.3 million, respectively.
