Roads closed for weekend repair
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Public Works and Highways closed down several roads for repair over the weekend.
According to the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), the department will conduct road repairs from 11 p.m. yesterday until Monday.
For southbound: EDSA Magallanes-Baclaran bus stop to Magallanes-Alabang bus stop (outer lane); EDSA after Camp Crame gate to Annapolis street (outer lane); EDSA, Bansalangin to North Avenue U-turn (fifth lane from sidewalk).
For eastbound: Quirino Highway Salvia street to Belfast Road (outer lane); Elliptical Road after Maharlika street (eighth lane from outer sidewalk).
For westbound: Novaliches General Luis street-Samote street to SB Road.
For northbound: A. Bonifacio Avenue, from J. Pineda to Marvex Drive (first lane from sidewalk); EDSA from Gate 4 to Gate 3 (second lane from center island); Katipunan Avenue/C-5 after C.P Garcia street (truck lane); EDSA in Quezon City after Aurora Boulevard to New York street (third lane from sidewalk).
The affected roads will be passable by 5 a.m. on Monday.
