Portion of C-3 Bridge in Navotas closed today

MANILA, Philippines — Starting today, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) will close the northbound lane of C-3 Bridge in Navotas to give way to the six-month construction of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) Harbor Link Segment 10 C3-R10 section. 

MMDA general manager Jojo Garcia advised motorists in northern Metro Manila to brace for traffic jams.

The NLEX Corp. is expected to finish the construction of the Harbor Link by December this year.

Garcia said around 33,000 vehicles would be affected by the closure of the bridge.

The MMDA will deploy additional traffic enforcers to assist motorists in the area, he said.
