LAGUNA, Philippines — Eight police chiefs in Laguna have been relieved from their posts over their poor performance in their areas.
Col. Eleazar Matta, Laguna police director, identified those reshuffled as Captains Lindley Tibuc, Robin Martin, Kelvin Sauro Zita, Glenn Cueves, Earl Jangalay, Jollymar Seloterio and Raymund Osea of the Paete, Famy, Lumban, Alaminos, Liliw, Pagsanjan and Siniloan police, respectively, and Maj. San Juan Felnar Aquino of the Calauan police.
“We want to give a chance to other police officers who could deliver a good performance... Some officers may be effective in other position or areas,” Matta told The STAR.

Tibuc was named officer-in-charge of the Rizal police; Martin in Pagsanjan, Zita in Siniloan, Cuevas in Paete, Jangalay in Famy, Seloterio in Lumban and Osea in Liliw.
