MANILA, Philippines — Fake dollar bills worth P287,700 were confiscated from three men – a Filipino, a Chinese and a Korean – at a casino in Pasay City on Wednesday night.

Police officers arrested businessman Fernando Silanga, 44; casino operator Wu Tian-ge, 31; and Sang Song-ho, 53, after they tried to change the counterfeit bills into casino chips worth P15,124,993 at a casino just before 8 p.m.

Casino staff alerted police after finding the bills carried the same serial number.

The suspects, who face charges of estafa and possession of false treasury or bank notes, said the fake bills came from a Korean man named James Park, who is now the subject of a police manhunt.
