List of local candidates 2019: Makati City

MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections released a list of candidates in Makati City.

The city, led by the Binay clan in the past years, has a population of more than 582,000 in 2015.

Binay siblings Junjun and Abby, who both served as the city's top executive are both gunning for the mayoral seat. Abby is the incumbent mayor.

The patriarch of the siblings, former Vice President Jejomar Binay, is also seeking a congressional seat.
