Drunk Chinese jailed for groping girl

MANILA, Philippines —  A Chinese tourist was arrested for allegedly groping a 17-year-old girl standing in the lobby of the condominium where he was staying in Alabang Hills, Muntinlupa City Friday night, an official said yesterday.

Jihua Yang, 31, who was apparently drunk, approached the girl, who was with her aunt, and reportedly grabbed her chest, case investigator Staff Sgt. Vannessa Camisera said.

Security guard Geoffer Garbo, who said he saw the incident, was the one who initiated Yang’s arrest and reported it to the Muntinlupa police, Camisera said.

Yang was held at the police station on charges of acts of lasciviousness in relation to child abuse.
