University of the Philippines college admission test results out soon
MANILA, Philippines — The University of the Philippines said it will release the results of its college admission test (UPCAT) in the next few days.
The university advised applicants to regularly visit the UPCAT website (upcat.up.edu.ph) for the announcement of the release.
“To be sure that you are getting accurate information about UPCAT, please consider only announcements coming from the official website of the Office of Admissions and official UPCAT-UP System Facebook page,” it added.
More than 100,000 graduating senior high school students took the examination in October last year.
Last year, more than 100,000 graduating expressed their intention to take the test, although only around 85,000 were able to complete the requirements and took the exam. Only 12,920 passed the test.
UPCAT, which consists of four subtests, namely Language Proficiency (English and Filipino), Science, Math and Reading Comprehension (English and Filipino), is administered every year in dozens of testing centers nationwide.
