LIST: Areas with water interruption in Metro Manila, Rizal
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATED 4:22 p.m.)— Several areas will experience water service interruptions in the coming days due to operational adjustments made by water service providers Manila Water and Maynilad.
In its social media account, Manila Water explained that it would conduct operational adjustments “to address the continuous decline of La Mesa Dam water.”
The water interruption started taking effect Sunday, March 10, and would last until further notice.
The following cities and towns are affected by the water service interruption:

Meanwhile, another water service provider Maynilad said the areas of Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, Parañaque and Bacoor, Cavite would also experience water interruption as it temporarily shuts down Putatan Water Treatment Plant on Sunday. The shutdown will pave way for the upgrade of pumps in preparation for the activation of its newly constructed treatment facility, also located in Barangay Putatan, Muntinlupa City.
“This project is part of the company’s continuous effort to improve water services in the West Zone,” Maynilad said in its service improvement advisory.

Meanwhile, Manila Water asked consumers to report any low pressure or no water supply happening outside the schedule announced.
"We sincerely apologize for the confusion this may have caused. We will continue to post updates as they come," Manila Water said.
