MANILA, Philippines — The repair and overlay of runway 06/24 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) will be completed by March 15, an official said yesterday.

Ed Monreal, general manager of the Manila International Airport Authority, said the P704-million project would be finished ahead of its original schedule in July.

“It involves restoration of the runway’s pavement markings, asphalt overlay and establishment of taxiway exits,” he said.
