MANILA, Philippines — Makati’s famous weekend market, Legazpi Sunday Market, recently announced it would temporarily move to a nearby and smaller parking lot.

In a social announcement, the management of the Sunday market said this is to pave way for construction of a new multi-level car park in its current location in Herrera St. corner Legazpi and Salcedo V.A. Rufino St, Legazpi Village.

The market will temporarily transfer to the parking lot between Corinthian Plaza and the Washington Sycip Park beside the Asian Institute of Management.

It added that this transfer is not in effect yet since it is still being decided.

“So we are still operating in the same area in the coming weeks,” the management said.

“After the completion of the car park construction, the market will be back at the same location,” it added.
