Magnitude 5.1 earthquake hits Eastern Samar

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 5.1 earthquake jolted Eastern Samar on Sunday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported.
According to Phivolcs, a tremor that was tectonic in origin happened at 2:24 p.m. in Hernani, Eastern Samar.
No damage was reported but aftershocks are expected.
