MANILA, Philippines — Consular offices of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) will not process passport applications on Dec. 26 and Jan. 2 next year.

Taking a cue from the Malacañang order suspending work in government offices, the DFA issued the advisory on Saturday.

“Applicants with confirmed passport appointments on Dec. 26 maybe accommodated at their original site from Dec. 27 to 29 and Jan. 3 to 15, 2019, except Saturdays,” the DFA said.

“The applicants must bring a printout of their confirmed passport appointments along with the other requirements,” it added.
