P1 million reward up for arrest of Muslim cleric’s killer

BAGUIO CITY, Philippines — A reward of P1 million has been put up for information leading to the arrest of the gunman in the killing of a Muslim religious leader in Baguio City on Dec. 6.

Bedejim Abdullah, 55, was shot by masked men in front of an Islamic education institution, which he helped build along Kayang street. He was a teacher of theology at the Philippine Military Academy.

Members of a Muslim community in this city called on the public to report to the police any information about the assailant.
