Immigration nabs 3 Georgians with fake visas at NAIA

MANILA, Philippines — Immigration officers recently intercepted three Georgians at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) for carrying fake Canadian visas.

A report of the NAIA Port Operations Division (POD) to the Bureau of Immigration (BI) showed that the three Georgians were arrested on Nov. 11 upon arriving at the NAIA Terminal 1 from Abu Dhabi.

NAIA-POD chief Grifton Medina said “these aliens planned to stay in Manila for two days, then fly to Qatar and Azerbaijan, before sneaking into Canada.” – Rudy Santos
