6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot to hit P765 million

MANILA, Philippines — The 6/58 Ultra Lotto jackpot is seen to reach P765 million, the largest prize in the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office’s history, by Friday’s draw, the PCSO said Wednesday.

The amount will surpass the P741 million jackpot won by a Filipino-American balikbayan in a 6/55 Mega Lotto draw on Nov. 29, 2010.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto was last won by two bettors who shared a P331.9-million jackpot on Feb. 16. One bettor bought the winning ticket in Calamba, Laguna and the other in Bustos, Bulacan.

The 6/58 Ultra Lotto game is drawn every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.
