LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines — Two pedestrians died after they were hit by a motorcycle in Barangay North Villazar, Sipocot, Camarines Sur on Tuesday.
Retired teacher Felicisima Alday, 72, and Evelyn Abaquita, 52, were walking beside the highway at about 1:30 p.m. when the accident occurred. They were pronounced dead on arrival at the Sipocot District Hospital.
The motorcycle rider, Rommel Ferme, 21, who was reportedly drunk, was arrested.
