MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has opened its office in the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).

Alexander Balutan, PCSO general manager, led the opening of the PCSO branch at the Puluan District Hospital in Maguindanao on Monday.

“Our target is to put up a PCSO branch in every province,” Balutan said. “Residents need basic health services and immediate medical support from the government. They need to feel the government’s presence through PCSO.”

An initial P1 million endowment fund was given to the branch.

Remeliza Gabuyo, PCSO assistant general manager for branch operations, said they would also open offices in Surigao del Norte, Guimaras, Quezon and Sarangani this year.
