MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4 earthquake shook Negros Occidental yesterday, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology.
The epicenter of the quake, which struck at around 2:38 p.m., was located 20 kilometers northeast of Sipalay. It was felt at Intensity 3.
At about 6:49 a.m., a magnitude 3.2 quake hit Misamis Oriental. The epicenter was traced one kilometer northwest of Cagayan de Oro City, where it was also felt at Intensity 2.
